LOVELY LADIES {1}: LAUREN RANDOLPH

I am so happy to start a new feature on my blog, called Lovely Ladies. I have a lot of amazing, creative, smart, fun women in my life and I want to share their talents.

So without further ado, my first lovely lady, is Lauren Randolph. She is co-founder of My Hotel Wedding, your one-stop site for seamless hotel wedding planning. www.myhotelwedding.com. Today she is talking about Spring 2014 trends. This post is especially perfect for all those newly engaged couples.

LOVELY WEDDING TRENDS FOR SPRING NUPTIALS

There are so many beautiful details that make us think of spring weddings; Birds singing, flowers blooming and the season of all things wedding, just to name a few. We are excited to share with you some of our favorite timeless spring wedding details.

Lets start with the fluttering birds. Birdcages are a not only a stunning décor piece, but can also be used to hold those special cards received from wedding guests.

Now on to the blooming flowers…Think pink! When incorporating this color into your wedding day, be sure to choose a pink that fits your personality whether it’s soft blushes, bold fuchsias or a combination of whites and pinks.

Pink wedding gowns have been trending for the past couple of years and they’re still here to stay. We love seeing a bride spice things up from the usual white with a beautiful pink gown for their wedding day. Vera Wang is still using pink in her 2014 Fall gown collection!

Not quite bold enough for a pink wedding gown? Don’t worry there are plenty of other ways to incorporate this fabulous color into your special day. For instance pink wedding bouquets are always the perfect compliment to a white gown.
