IN THE STUDIO: CURRENT/ELLIOTT
Normally I don’t post work from my full time job, but I couldn’t resists. I am extremely happy with the launch of the new Current/Elliott site. It is very clean, with large images and easier navigation. I love that you can choose how many images to view on each page. There was also the launch of a new category called Loved and Found, which was a fun section to design. I was able to be more creative with the layout and actual photography of the items. Since Current/Elliott is known for its vintage esthetic I was able to carry that idea through in this new category.
This was also the first time I had to design a site so it is responsive (it can work on all platforms mobile, tablets). There was a huge learning curve designing for large format and making sure it would work when scaled down. There was a lot of back and forth for each page design, but now I feel like a pro.
