FOODIE TUESDAY (continued): OLDFIELD'S LIQUOR ROOM

I am always on the lookout for a cool watering hole on my side of town (I am a westsider after all), so when I heard that this new saloon was opening I was excited to try it out. It’s called Oldfield’s Liquor Room and the owner owns some well-known bars in LA like Bigfoot Lodge and the Thirsty Crow.

This bar is really nice; I really loved the wood paneled ceilings and subway-tilled floors. The mycologist was super cute and made my drink with fresh juices and syrups. The one I had to try was called the Peerless, which showcased my favorite fruit the apricot. It contains Miller’s Gin, apricot liqueur, apricot nectar, and ginger beer. This drink was really refreshing and I especially loved the dried apricot used as a garnish.  I cannot wait to come back and try some of their other yummy drinks.
